This page contains the description of the graphical object.
Data entry
Name
Name of the graphical object.
This name must be a valid graphical object name (as defined by IBM), unique in the environment.
Length: 15 characters maximum.
Mandatory field.
Description
Description clearly identifying the graphical object.
Length: 50 characters maximum.
Mandatory field.
Prefix
Name of the graphic control when the object is placed in the layout.
Length: 10 characters maximum.
Optional field.
Buttons
Display/Assign
This button opens a dialog box displaying the list of management rules assigned to the graphical object, as well as the list of available management rules which can be assigned to the graphical object.
Sequence
This button opens a dialog box displaying the list of management rules assigned to the graphical object, in order to resequence this list by modifying the sequence numbers of the listed management rules.
Information
This button opens a dialog box displaying information on the current graphical object, such as the name of the software engineer-owner, the dates and times of creation and modification.
This button is not active in creation mode
Comments
This button opens a dialog box for entering a comment text which will be associated with the current graphical object.
