Visibility
The visibility of a resource can be either public or private.
A public resource cannot be changed into a private resource if:
- it is attached to more than one application area,
- it is assigned to a page layout or to a program attached to more than one application area.
In create mode, the visibility is by default set to public.
Type
Can be source or object.
Source and object resources are respectively placed in the source and object directories of the programs on automatic export.
In creation mode, the type is initialized with object.
Check boxes
Program type
A resource can be used by different types of program:
Windows client (Windows client part of VADELIA programs),
Java client (Java client part of VADELIA programs),
Mobile client (Mobile client part of MADELIA programs),
Cloud client (Cloud client part of VADELIA programs),
Web client (Web client part of WADELIA programs),
Java server (Java server part),
Windows server (Windows server part).
During automatic export, the resource is placed in the destination directories of the program defined in the environment attributes (or application area if the resource is private).
For the Web and Cloud client type, a public resource is exported once using the environment's settings, then for each of the related application areas if the site roots are not inherited from the environment.
No type is defined on creation, so the user must choose at least one.
