Single-selection
To select a single object, just click it. The object appears with a border.
Extended-selection
Click successively the various objects to be selected while holding the Ctrl key.
Rectangle-selection
Define on the screen a selection rectangle by clicking outside of any field, while holding the left button of the mouse, and by scanning all the fields to be selected.
For a field to be selected, it must be entirely included in the selection rectangle.
