To modify the standards of a window or of an 80- or 132-column screen layout, click the corresponding button of the Create/Modify a screen standard dialog box.
Important: Only administrators can change the information in this dialog box.
The "Constants" topic is used to modify the display characteristics of the listed constants.
The "Title" topic is used to specify the screen layout title.
Data entry
Line/column
These fields are used to specify the location of the selected constant on the layout.
Length
Title length.
Adjustment
If the length of the title is fixed, the number of characters it may contain must be entered here. It is worth noting that during compilation, the title appears at the middle of this length if it is shorter than the number entered here.
Lines (Beginning/End)
These fields define the screen surface used by the system when automatically generating screen layouts using the Question/Answer programming interface.

Title
This title can be made up of the program name or the transaction name.
Length
The title length can be fixed or variable.

Field attributes / heading attributes
All these buttons display a dialog box which is used to define the field and heading attributes.
Description attributes and masks
All these buttons open a dialog box which is used to define the attributes of field descriptions.
The input fields define the mask of these descriptions.
Modify (validation)
This button validates the modifications made et closes the dialog box.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the modifications made.
Keyboard shortcut: Esc.
Lines
This button opens a dialog box which is used to define the parameters relating to window management.
Important: This button only appears when the current dialog box relates to window standards.
Function keys
This button opens a dialog box which is used to work with the function keys of the current screen standard.
