Example Client/Server configuration
This example is for a standard client/server configuration. It does not cover physical HTTP servers. Click here to see an example HTTP client/server configuration.
You must create a configuration for the client.
To do so, run the following command:
Java com.hardis.adelia.configuration.CfgSetup /C
The command creates a file MWCLIENT.INI.
The client configuration procedure can be broken down into three steps:
- declaring the logical servers,
- declaring the physical servers,
- configuring the links between logical servers and physical servers.
You must first define the logical servers REGION and CENTRAL:
Then you must create the physical servers M40S and NT:
Then you must associate the logical servers with the physical servers (in this example: REGION - M40S and CENTRAL - NT):
To sum up, the result of the client configuration procedure looks like this:
