Access
To work with sendings, select the Sendings option from the Exchanges menu in the Exchange manager.

Create
This option opens a dialog box that lets you create a sending.
Modify
This option opens a dialog box that lets you modify the selected sending's characteristics.
Copy
This option opens a dialog box that lets you copy the selected sending.
Delete
This option lets you delete the selected sending.
A box will appear requesting confirmation before the system effectively deletes it.
Execute
This option lets you execute the selected sending.
A box will appear requesting confirmation before the sending is effectively executed.
The time taken depends on the size of the exchange. A sending begins by initializing the buffer, clearing its contents, then sends the common data before finally sending the planned models or objects one after the other. A graphical cursor shows the progression of each operation.
Note: The user can minimize the application during execution (but cannot execute another sending or a reception).
Note: If no sendings have been created, or none are selected, only the context-sensitive menu's Create option will be available.
