Access
To define the display attributes, the positions, and the texts of the 24 function keys for a screen standard, click the Function keys button of the Modify a window standard (or an 80-column/132-column screen standard) dialog box.
Important: Only administrators can change the information in this dialog box.

Fixed/Variable
Length (fixed or variable) of the function key descriptions on the screen.
Data entry
Length
For a fixed-length description, define this length here.
Space
For a variable-length description, number of spaces between two successive descriptions.
Line number
Number of the screen line on which the descriptions of the function keys will be displayed.

Function keys
List of function keys with their descriptions.
The input field is used to modify the description of the function key selected in this list.
Single-selection list.
Buttons
Attributes
This button opens a dialog box which is used to define the display characteristics of the function key descriptions.
Modify
This button takes into account the new description of the selected function key.
Modify (validation)
This button validates the modifications made and closes the dialog box.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the modifications made.
