Note: Refer to the Dreamweaver® Help documentation for full details on accessing and using property inspectors.
A property inspector is a panel that displays the values associated with the most common options for the currently selected tag.
This selection can be made in Dreamweaver® in either "Code" or "Creation" mode.
The details displayed reflect the values assigned to the various attributes of the selected tag. The details shown in the property inspector for an Adelia object are primarily the ones in the dialog box used to create the object.
These values can be modified directly via the inspector.
For certain objects, the information is displayed on several panels. It is possible to change panels by clicking the image . The number of drops indicates the number of available panels.
With Entry Field, Output Field, Check box, Radio Button, Combo Box and Image objects, three additional details illustrating the object's logical origin are also shown:
An entry field displaying the name of the relevant logical entity,
An entry field displaying the name of the logical property,
A check box that specifies whether or not the data flow must be managed.
In addition, where an Adelia tag frames an HTML tag, a button labeled with the name of the HTML tag in question is added to the property inspector. Clicking this button opens a dialog box that contains all the attributes available for the tag.
Note: It is not possible to modify the Name and Id attributes (or the Type attribute in the case of Input tags) in this dialog box.
