To work with logical servers of the current application area, select the Logical servers tab of the Object manager.

Logical servers
List of the logical servers, with their names and description.
The sort sequence can be defined by clicking the column headers of the list.
Extended-selection list.
With correction environments, there may be a check mark in front of each logical server name.
A red check mark shows that the logical server is being held by the default correction.
A black check mark shows that the logical server is being held by a correction other than the default correction.
Context-sensitive menu
The following options are accessible at all times via the context-sensitive menu.
In addition, there may be buttons to perform the same actions on the right-hand side of the window, depending on the settings in the Create/Modify a software engineer dialog box's Preferences tab.
Create
This option opens a dialog box which is used to create a logical server.
Modify
This option opens a dialog box which is used to display or modify the general characteristics of the selected logical server.
This option is only active when one or more logical servers are selected in the list.
Delete
This option opens a message box which is used to confirm the final deletion of the selected logical server(s).
When the deletion is validated, the list of logical servers is updated accordingly.
This option is only active when one or more logical servers are selected in the list.
This option prints the description of the selected logical servers.
The printing job is submitted to the Job manager.
This option is only active when one or more logical servers are selected in the list.
Analyze
This option opens a dialog box displaying all the programs which use the selected logical server.
This option is only active when one or more logical servers are selected in the list.
Logical entities
This option opens a dialog box which is used to assign logical entities to the selected logical server, or de-assign them from it.
This option is only active when one or more logical servers are selected in the list.
Hold
This option opens a dialog box enabling the selected logical servers to be held by the default correction.
This option is only visible in correction environments.
It is only active when one or more logical servers are selected in the list and the user has a default correction.
