Use
This reserved word can only be used in a CANCEL or SAVE block. It cannot be changed by the programmer. It defines a special value of the reserved word *EVT_ORIGIN.
In the CANCEL block execution context, its value is the Adelia name of the graphical object at the origin of the last Adelia event executed that the user wishes to cancel.
In the SAVE block execution context, its value is the Adelia name of the graphical object at the origin of the Adelia event that has just been executed.
For example
If the user triggered an event by clicking on an Adelia Button object called BTN_ADD, *OBJ_ORIGIN is the alphanumeric string "ADD_BTN" during the execution of the CANCEL block (by clicking on the browser's Previous button).
Special cases
- In the SAVE block, the *OBJ_ORIGIN value is the Web page's Adelia name (for example "WPAGE1_ID") when it is executed via the PROCESS instruction,
- In the SAVE block, the *OBJ_ORIGIN value is the Web page's Adelia name (for example "WPAGE1_ID") when executing the page's RETURN paragraph.
