The source comparison tool can be used with program, macro-instruction, management rule and program template type objects.
It lets you determine whether the sources for two objects are the same or different, and where applicable, to show the differences.
You can compare sources in two different ways:
Individual comparison: comparison of the sources of two objects belonging to the same or to different environments.
Global comparison: comparison across two environments of the sources for a list of object names or generic names.
