Access
To translate or change the translations of associated constants, you must:
- Select the main constant in the association group (the first, non-shaded constant in the group).
- Then, either:
- Select the Translate option from the context-sensitive menu in the Translations tab of the Translation manager.
- Double-click the selected constant.
Note: If several constants have been selected in the Translations tab, the translation dialog boxes for the various constants will be opened consecutively. The Translate and Cancel buttons let you string together the translations of the various constants selected (simple or associated constants).
You can stop the translation sequence for a series of associated constants by clicking the active dialog box's 
close icon (keyboard shortcut: Alt + F4).

Associated constants
Value of the constants to be translated.
A constant text in green signifies that the constant contains line break characters. Select the line so that the constant displays at the bottom of the box, in a field where line breaks are visible.
Constant
Length of the selected constant. If it is red, it means the extension type for the constant is set to 'Null'.
Translation
Length of the constant's translation while being entered.
Data entry
Associated translations
Translations of the associated constants into the current language.
To translate on more than one line, double-click the required line before entering the translation text.
By default, the length is limited to 250 characters (the same as the source constants). You can reduce this maximum length for each constant in the Translation manager's Details tab.
Context-sensitive menus
Modify
This option opens a dialog box that lets you modify the current constant's characteristics.
Analyze
This option opens a dialog box containing additional details of the selected constants.
Buttons
Translate
Validates the translations or the modifications made and closes the dialog box.
Cancel
Closes the dialog box without validating the modifications made.
