Access
To display or modify the general characteristics of a window or screen transaction, double-click the corresponding transaction design on the graph.
Data entry
Number
Transaction number ranging from 1 to 99.
This number must be unique among the transaction numbers of the program.
Mandatory entry.
Description
Description clearly identifying the transaction.
Length: 50 characters maximum.
Optional entry.
Lists
Transaction template
Transaction template assigned to the transaction.
The list box displays all the transaction templates attached to the current application area, with the same size and type as the transaction.
Default: "None".
Links
List of all the links beginning from the transaction.
For each link, the type, the target object, the generation paragraph, and the link condition are specified.
Double-click a link to open a dialog box which is used to display or modify its general characteristics.
Links are listed according to their level 1 generation sequence.
The sequence of the links in the list can be modified.

Buttons
Enter/Create/Modify (validation)
The Enter button (in display mode) closes the dialog box.
The Create button (in creation mode) or the Modify button (in modification mode) validates the dialog box.
The various fields of the dialog box are verified. If all are valid, the transaction definition is updated in the database before the box is closed; otherwise, an error message is displayed.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the choices made.
Keyboard shortcut: Esc.
Layout mgr
This button opens the Screen layout manager which is used to display, create or modify the design of the program transaction.
If the transaction template has been modified since the opening of the dialog box, an automatic generation from the new transaction template is proposed before the layout manager is called.
