To display or modify the specific values of a data type, click the Values button of the dialog boxes used to Create/Modify a data type.
Radio buttons
There cannot be a list of values and limit values (Range) at the same time. The selection is made by clicking the corresponding radio button.
List of values
Click this radio button to specify a list of values.
Range
Click this radio button to specify limit values.
Lists
Values
This list contains the available values for the data type.
When a value is selected (by clicking it, or using the space bar on the keyboard), it is repeated in the input field, where it can be modified or deleted.
The input field can also be used to add a new value to the list.
For a numeric decimal value, the separator can be a point or a comma.

Data entry
Minimum limit / Maximum limit
Minimum and maximum values of the data type.
Length: 30 positions maximum.
Optional entry.
Default value
Initial value of a data type.
Adelia reserved words can be used (for example: "*TIME", "*DATE").
Length: 30 positions maximum.
Optional entry.
Example value
Display value, for information, used by the Adelia Screen or Report layout manager to enhance the simulation.
Length: 30 positions maximum.
Optional entry.
Buttons
Add
This button adds the value defined in the input field to the list of existing values.
Modify
This button replaces the value selected in the list with the value contained in the input field.
Delete
This button deletes the selected value from the list.
Enter/Modify (validation)
The Enter button (in display mode) closes the dialog box.
The Modify button (in modification mode) validates the box. However, data is only updated in the database when the Create/Modify a data type dialog box is validated:
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the modifications made.
