To open this page, click the Divisions tab in the Split Bar's Object properties dialog box.
"Add division" frame
Used to add a new division to the object. A division separates the space with a bar that the user can move. The user chooses the view of the division in which he or she wants to create a new division.
Lists of values
Main division
List of existing divisions. Used to choose the division that will contain the next division.
Main view
Used to choose the view (1 or 2) in which the division will be created.
Position
Used to choose the horizontal or vertical orientation of the split bar.
Buttons
Add
Creates the new division in the object. Its description is immediately displayed at the bottom of the window.
"Division presentation" frame
Displays the description of a division in the Split Bar object.
Input fields
No.
Division number. Corresponds to the creation order in the object.
Name
Division name. The name must be used to identify the division when calling the graphical object's methods.
Main division name
Name of the division containing the current division. Division number 1 has no main division. The field is grayed.
Parent view number.
Number of the view (1 or 2) containing the current division. Division number 1 has no main view. The field is grayed.
Bar coordinates
The x-axis of the bar in relation to the left side of the division if the bar is vertical, or its y-axis in relation to the top side of the division if the bar is horizontal.
Bar width
Width of the bar.
Bar orientation
Vertical or horizontal orientation of the bar.
View number
Number of the current view. View number 1 is located on the left if the bar is vertical, and at the top if the bar is horizontal.
Minimum space
Defines the minimum space for a division view, i.e. the limit beyond which the user can no longer drag the bar with the mouse.
The size of the view is always greater than or equal to the minimum space. Consequently, modifying the minimum space may alter the coordinates of the bar.
Buttons
Highlight
Used to identify the division specified in the layout's "Name" field. A black flashing frame surrounding the division will appear for a few seconds.
Delete
Deletes the division currently displayed.
The previous division is displayed (or the next division if you have just deleted the first division).

Background color
Used to define the background color of the current view.
