This page lets you build a version manager from a simple environment .
Important: Only administrators can use the environment to build a version manager.

Type of environment from which the dialog box was called: Simple.
Data entry
Correction environment
Name of the correction environment that will be associated with the current environment when the version manager is built.
The name entered can be either a database name, or a URL containing a schema specification (SCHEMA/DATABASENAME). If a schema specification is provided, the database creation tool is launched in table creation mode on an existing database; else the tool is launched in new database creation mode.
Mandatory entry.
Buttons
Build
This button starts the process to convert a simple environment into a production environment.
The details below the button are activated one-by-one as the process progresses. These details describe the various steps in the process:
- Initialize the data in the environment required by the version manager.
- Create the correction environment using the Database creation tool.
- Copy the data from the simple environment to the created correction environment.
- Update the information specific to the correction environment.
- Convert the simple environment into a production environment.
The administrator who requested the building of the version manager becomes its administrator.
This button is only active if a correction environment name has been entered in the relevant field.
After the conversion step, the environment type changes and the page displays the standard production environment details.
