This page lets you work with the options for the correction validations executed from the correction environment.
It only appears in the attributes of correction environments.
Important: Only version manager administrators (users with the *ADM_VER_MAN authority for the current environment) can make changes on this page.
Check boxes
Generate data
This check box lets you choose to automatically generate the data files associated with the objects received in the correction validation's receiving environment.
Checked |
The data files are generated automatically. |
When the correction validation is analyzed in the environment, a tab lets you set the required generation options. |
with logical entities, accesses and join entities: the PDM is generated,
with error messages: the error message files are generated,
with programs: the sources are generated and compiled.
These different generation procedures entail the creation of generation jobs in the receiving environment's job manager.
A constants re-extraction job is created (similar to the job carried out from the translation manager) if at least one constant from the dictionary is present in the correction.
These jobs are created immediately after the reception of the objects concerned by the correction validation, and immediately before the "After Validation" EXIT program (if any) is run.
Export resources
If checked, this lets you run automatic export of resources received in the correction validation's receiving environment.
After deleting an object
This check box defines whether an EXIT program is run after deleting an object during the correction validation procedure. Important: the object deletion can take place at the beginning of the correction validation procedure and after receiving the last object.
Checked |
The EXIT program, entered in the field to the right of the check box, is run after deleting an object during the correction validation procedure. |
Before correction validation
This check box defines whether an EXIT program is run before the correction validation, i.e. before all the objects concerned by the correction validation procedure are received.
Checked |
The EXIT program, entered in the field to the right of the check box, is run before the correction validation. |
Before receiving an object
This check box defines whether an EXIT program is run before receiving an object during the correction validation procedure.

After correction validation
This check box defines whether an EXIT program is run after the correction validation, i.e. after all the objects concerned by the correction validation procedure have been received.
Checked |
The EXIT program, entered in the field to the right of the check box, is run after the correction validation. |
Commit the changes to the correction environment
If this box is checked and the production environment is associated with a code source repository linked to a source control manager (Git or SVN), the changes will be automatically committed to the source control manager.
Commit the changes to the production environment
If this box is checked and the production environment is associated with a code source repository linked to a source control manager (Git or SVN), the changes will be automatically committed to the source control manager.
Automatically generate commit message
If this box is checked and a commit is triggered, the commit will be automatic (no commit dialog box is shown), otherwise, the commit dialog box will be shown to confirm the operation.
Push the changes to
Only in the case of a Git source control manager, associated with a remote source control manager, if this box is checked, changes to the current branch will be automatically pushed to the specified remote branch ("origin" by default).
Data entry
EXIT programs
These fields will be active if the relevant box is checked.
They let you enter the full names (path and name) of the EXIT programs.
The "..." button to the right of these fields opens a Windows system dialog box that lets you select the full name of an executable program accessible from the workstation.
