The information field reference file is a physical file-type compiled object.
This field reference file is based on conceptual properties entered in the Conceptual Data Model.
Access
To generate the field reference file, select the corresponding option from the PDM menu of the LDM/PDM screen.
Warning: This option generates the field reference file only on AS/400.
Data entry
Field ref. file name
Name of the AS/400 physical field reference file.
Default: "FLDREF".
Format name
Name of the physical field reference file format.
Default: "FLDREF".
Displayed data
Generation
Last generation date and time.
Buttons
Generate
This button starts the field reference file generation, with the characteristics specified in the dialog box.
Enter (validation)
This button validates the modifications made and closes the dialog box.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the modifications made.
