Access
To select a program's generation language and platform, you must either:
Click the Generate button of the Analyze the use of a graphical object dialog box.
Click the Generate button of the Analyze the use: Programs dialog box.
Click the Generate button of the Real use of a management rule dialog box in the Object manager.
Click the Generate button of the Potential use of a management rule dialog box in the Object manager.
Select the Generate with parameters suboption from the Submit generation option in the context-sensitive menu of the Maintenance manager's Results and Storage tabs.
Select the Generate with parameters suboption from the Submit generation option in the context-sensitive menu of the Multisource search's Results and Storage tabs.

Generation
List used to select the type of generation for the selected programs (RPG for AS/400 or C for Windows).
Single-selection list.
Note: The options presented in the list depend on the standard choices made in the environment attributes.

Buttons
Generate
This button validates the modifications made and starts generating the selected programs.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the modifications made.
