This option lets the user restrict which messages to be translated are displayed, according to the application areas to which they belong.
To display messages according to the application areas in the environment, click the Select button in the Messages tab of the Translation manager.

List used to preselect the application areas in the current environment.
Select the application area(s) whose messages you want to display in the Messages tab.

Note: You can select all the application areas in the list by double-clicking a column heading. You can select or deselect several non-consecutive application areas by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking the left mouse button.

Messages to display
Used to select which of the messages satisfying the selection criteria are to be displayed.
Possible values:
"All" |
All the messages will be displayed. |
"Not translated" |
Only the untranslated messages will be displayed. |
"Translated" |
Only the translated messages will be displayed. |
Translated, not up-to-date | Only messages with an outdated translation will be displayed. |
Translated, up-to-date | Only messages with up-to-date translation will be displayed. |
Default: "All".
Buttons
Display
Validates your selection and closes the dialog box.
The items returned by the selection are displayed in the Messages tab's message list.
Cancel
Closes the dialog box without validating your selections.
Keyboard shortcut: Esc.
Important: Once the messages have been selected, the Position to filter in the Translation manager's Messages tab will only affect this selection. Therefore, you need to make a new selection in order to redisplay all the environment's messages.
The selections in the Messages tab are not saved when you close the Translation manager.
