The various statuses of the corrections managed in the correction manager window depend on the current environment type.
Correction environments
Status |
Description |
Available |
Initial status of a correction when it is created. |
To be validated |
Status preceding the effective validation of a correction. In this status, the correction and the objects in it can no longer be modified. This status is used to test modifications made by the correction, safe in the knowledge that nobody is modifying the relevant objects. |
Validated |
Status following the effective validation of a correction. A correction in this status can be validated again. The objects in the correction can again be held by another correction. |
In validation |
Status of a "To be validated" correction, while it is actually being validated. This is a temporary status. In this status, the correction and the objects in it cannot be modified. |
New validation |
Status of a "Validated" correction while in the process of being revalidated. This is a temporary status. In this status, the correction and the objects in it cannot be modified. |
Archived |
A validated correction can be archived. Once archived, it cannot be validated again. This means that its validation reports can then be deleted. |
