Access
To copy a view or a variable into a current program from other programs, select the Copy from option from the context-sensitive menu of one of the following dialog boxes:
in the 4GL Editor (ADELIA batch and interactive programs only).
Data entry
Program
You can enter a program name to restrict the search. You can use the * and [] characters. If this field is left blank, there will be no results.
Default setting: "*".
Lists
Views/Variables
List of views or variables present in the source of the selected program.
For each view, this list shows:
- the view name,
- the view code,
- the file associated with the view.
For each variable, this list shows its characteristics:
- guide word,
- type:
"AL" Alphanumerical
"NU" Numerical
"DA" Date
"TI" Time
"TS" TimeStamp
- length,
- number of decimal places,
- number of cells (with one-dimensional array variables),
- number of cells (with two-dimensional array variables),
- short name,
- reference.
Double-click with the left mouse button on the list title ("List of xxx") enables all its elements to be selected.
Deselect by double-clicking with the right mouse button.

Buttons
Copy (validation)
This button copies the views or variables selected in the current program and closes the dialog box.
Cancel
Closes the dialog box without copying anything.
Keyboard shortcut: Esc.
