Access
To display the characteristics of a layout field from the SSG, click the Field button of the Modify the data flow dialog box.

Name
Name of the variable.
Description
Clear description of the variable.
DDS code
DDS code of the variable.
Length
Field length.
Nbr decimals
Number of decimal places for a numeric field.
Format
Format code in which this variable is positioned on a transaction.
