To modify the logical servers associated with a logical entity, select the Logical Servers option in the context-sensitive menu (or the equivalent button) in the Logical entities tab of the LDM/PDM screen.
Lists
Servers assigned
List of all the logical servers assigned to a logical entity.
A server assigned belongs to one of the following categories:
Server checked: |
the logical server is assigned by default to the current logical entity. There can be only one server of this type for a given entity. |
Server not checked: |
the server is not assigned to any entity by default, only to the current logical entity. |

Available servers
List of the logical servers of the current application area, which can be assigned to the logical entity.

Buttons
Assign
Moves the servers selected in the list of the available servers towards the list of the assigned servers.
This button is not valid if no server is selected in the list of the available servers.
De-assign
Moves the servers selected in the list of the assigned servers towards the list of the assigned servers.
This button is not valid if no server is selected in the list of the assigned servers.
Default
This button is used to select the logical server which will be used by default among those assigned to the entity.
The selected server appears checked in the list of the servers assigned.
If the server selected is already the default server and you press this button, the server is unchecked and will no longer be the default server.
The default logical server is used during data flow and level 2 generation, for VADELIA programs. The source lines referring to this entity are then automatically assigned to this logical server.
A logical entity can only have one logical server by default.
This button is not valid if no server is selected in the list of the assigned servers.

Modify
This button validates the modifications made and closes the dialog box.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the choices made.
