The dependency relationships (cardinalities x,n - 1,1) with or without hierarchical dependency: the sequence number specified at the relationship level describes its processing sequence.
If the relationship is described as non-hierarchically dependent, the key of the original entity is duplicated twice in the key of the final entity.
If the relationship is described as hierarchically dependent, the key of the original entity only appears once in the key of the final entity.
Example of hierarchical dependency
Hierarchical dependency at 'N' on the "ISSUES" relationship
The key of the original entity COMPANY is duplicated several times in the key of the final entity.
The key of the logical entity ORDER is:
Company_code (first time) + Agency_code + Company_code (second time) + Site_code+ Order_No.
Hierarchical dependency at 'Y' on the "ISSUES" relationship
The key of the original entity COMPANY is duplicated once in the key of the final entity.
Thus, the key of the logical entity ORDER is:
Agency_code + Company_code + Site_code + Order_No, when the "Generate LDM V6.0 or later" check box of the "Miscellaneous" page in the Environment attributes dialog box is not checked (default value of environments created with versions preceding version 6 of Adelia/400, and of some environments created with version 6).
Company_code + Agency_code + Site_code + Order_No, when the "Generate LDM V6.0 or later" check box of the "Miscellaneous" page in the Environment attributes dialog box is checked (default value of environments created with a later version than version 6 of Adelia/400, and of some environments created with version 6), and default values of the Adelia Studio environments.
