Middleware parameters
Data entry
IP host name
IP address of the Windows microcomputer on which the programs will be compiled.
IP port
Listening port of the Adelia daemon run on the microcomputer (usually 910).
User
Adelia Middleware profile used for connection (usually HARDISPS).
Password
Password associated to the user.

Confirmation
Second password entry in order to confirm the previous one.

Opens a dialog box showing the Windows servers detected on the network. This dialog box enables you to select a server and to check the connection parameters.

Program directories
Name of the field reference file in which the source files will be placed, and name of the field reference file where the objects will be stored when server programs are generated.
These names must be entered as they are "seen" by the compiling machine.

Additional directory for .DLL files
Name of the additional directory into which the .DLL files and documentation are copied when an ActiveX control is integrated.
We recommend creating a shared directory into which the various ActiveX controls used by developers are placed, so that Visual Adelia layouts that contain an ActiveX control can be opened successfully on all development workstations.
Note: This field is visible only if the page is called from the Environment attributes dialog box (call from the environment).

This button cancels the modifications made and restores the application to its previous state.

This button cancels the modifications made and restores the application to the state it had when the environment was created.
Note: A click on the icon situated on the upper right-hand corner of the dialog box closes the box (keyboard shortcut: Alt+F4). If modifications were made, a confirmation screen appears.
Validate
Used to test the validity of the data entered. The wizard initiates a connection with the server, verifies access to the source code directories, then launches a compile test. The program also attempts to automatically detect and configure the Microsoft C compiler (MSDEV or .NET).
