To add or modify a client configuration file, check the Clients radio button and click the Add or Modify button of the configuration file list in the Client/Server configurator dialog box.
This file is read by the program generated in order to locate the database.
The dialog box is used to indicate the default database as well as any possible exceptions.

Directory
Directory containing the processed file.
Name
Name of the file.
Data entry
Title
Description clearly identifying the configuration file.
Optional entry.
Radio buttons
AS/400
The parameters of the *DFT (AS/400) line are used for all files that are not specified in the list.
Brieve
The parameters of the *DFT (Btrieve) line are used for all files that are not specified in the list.
Lists
List of database files
List of the files used by a program. For each database file, the following information is displayed: name, directory or library, type (AS/400 or Btrieve), server name and port.

Buttons
Add
This button opens a dialog box which is used to add a database file to the list.
Modify
This button opens a dialog box which is used to display or modify the selected database file.
This button is not active when no database file is selected in the list.
Delete
This button opens a dialog box which is used to confirm the deletion of the selected database file.
This button is not active when no database file is selected in the list.
Save (validation)
This button saves the client configuration file in the work directory and closes the dialog box.
Save as (validation)
This button opens a Windows system dialog box which is used to specify another directory in which the configuration file will be saved.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the choices made.
