Variables
List of variables declared in the active document's source.
This list also shows the characteristics of each variable.
guide word,
type (ALPHA, NUM_E, NUM_P, LIST, etc.),
length,
number of decimal places,
number of elements (with one-dimensional array variables),
number of elements (with two-dimensional array variables).
When a variable in the list is selected, the variable's declaration text is displayed in the message section of the status bar at the bottom of the 4GL editor screen.

You can sort the list in ascending or descending order of the values in a column by clicking the corresponding column heading.

Retrieve
This option lets you insert the selected variable's guide word into the active document's source, at the cursor's current position.
Refresh
This option updates the variable list after analyzing the source.
