To display or modify the general characteristics of a subfile format (from "*1" to "*9") for a transaction template, click the Details button of the Format code dialog box.

Short name
The short name is automatically generated by the system. If the short name is XX, the short name created will be SFLXX. It cannot be modified.
Data entry
Heading height
Number of lines between the column heading descriptions and the first record of the subfile.
Enter directly the desired number of lines, or scroll through the existing values using the arrow buttons.
Check boxes
Multiline display
This box is used to display a subfile record on several lines (secondary lines).
Secondary descriptions
This box is active provided the previous one is checked. It is used to display the column heading descriptions of the information located in secondary lines of the subfile records.

A blank line is displayed for adding a new record, after the last lines of the subfile. |
Dynamic pagination

The subfile is loaded in a dynamic way. |
Buttons
Hidden fields
This button opens a dialog box which is used to define the hidden fields for the transaction template.
Graphical attributes
This button opens a dialog box which is used to display or modify the graphical attributes of the format.
Modify (validation)
This button validates the modifications made and closes the dialog box.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the modifications made.
