To display or modify the specific values of a variable, click the Values button of one of the following dialog boxes: Modify a variable of a transaction. Modify a variable of a transaction template. There cannot be a list of values and limit values (Range) at the same time. The selection is made by clicking the corresponding radio button. Click this radio button to specify a list of values. For an output variable (numeric or alphanumeric), no limit values or list of values can be entered. Click this radio button to specify limit values. When a value is selected in the list (by clicking it, or using the space bar on the keyboard), it is repeated in the entry field, where it can be modified or deleted. The Modify button (in modification mode) validates the dialog box. However, data is only updated in the database when the Modifying a Variable of a Transaction or Modifying a Variable of a Transaction Template dialog box is validated.
