Access
To select the logical property modifications you wish to apply into a program, click the Apply button of the Analyze the use of a logical property in programs dialog box.

Modifications
Check the boxes corresponding to the modifications you wish to apply: length and type (alphanumeric or numeric), edit word or code, default value, example value, values or range, help, keyboard options.
Length increase
This is used to opt for field shifting if a field length is extended and if the new field does not have enough space in the layout.

The fields to the right are shifted depending on the remaining space so that the newly extended field can be displayed. This is indicated by a warning in the job report. |

If the space provided by indentation is not adequate, the fields are left unchanged. This is indicated by an error message in the job report. |

The fields are not shifted, and an error message is returned. |
This box is only active if the "Length and type" and/or "Edit word or code" options are selected.

This button validates the choices made and starts applying the modifications.
Once this job has been completed, a Report window is displayed giving the details of the job carried out (possible error messages, etc.).
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the choices made.
