Section for use
VERIFICATION
Syntax
CONTROL_INFO VarId
Description
The implicit controls defined at the layout or file level are normally added at Level 2 generation.
The limit of this generation appears when you change or correct an implicit management rule or a kind. When the CONTROL_INFO instruction is used, you need only to generate the model after changing the kind code or implicit management rule, without changing the model to modify the instructions.
This instruction only applies to a screen field found by its name VarId mentioned in the instruction syntax.
The instruction "CONTROL_INFO VarId" generates lines in the Adelia language, only during the verification phase to create the executable program.
These lines are later removed from the Adelia source.
The variable must be part of the transaction in the VERIFICATION section.
Thus, the implicit management rules and kinds become dynamic at the model level.
If the Level 2 has already been generated, and if the kind or the implicit management rule has changed or will change, the lines previously generated can be deleted and replaced with the "CONTROL_INFO VarId" instruction; see the CONTROL_TRS instruction.
