To display, create or modify the general characteristics of a screen standard, select the corresponding option in the context-sensitive menu (or the equivalent button) in the Standards tab of the Administration manager window.
Important: Only administrators can change the information in this dialog box.
Data entry
Name
Name of the screen standard.
Length: 15 characters maximum.
Mandatory entry.
Description
Description clearly identifying the screen standard.
Length: 250 characters maximum.
Alternate help key
If you wish to define a function key different from the Help key to access help, you must specify this alternate key in this field.
Prompt key
Number of the default function key for the SFTKY 4GL instruction.
Program
Name of the program in charge of help on the AS/400.
Folder
Name of the OFFICE/400 directory which contains the environment help documents.
This field is only active when the OFFICE/400 radio button is checked.
Subfolder
Name of the OFFICE/400 subdirectory which contains the documents related to conceptual properties.
This field is only active when the OFFICE/400 radio button is checked.
SFLDROP key
This function key is used to switch from truncated mode to multiple line mode when displaying a subfile.
Default: "11".
Deletion code
Record deletion code when working with a subfile.
Default: "4".
SFLRCDNBR root
Root of the name of the variable used by the generator to control subfile record numbers.
Default: "WRAN".
Radio buttons
Visibility
The visibility of a program can be either public or private.
Only the owner of the screen standard, or a software engineer with modification authorities, can change the visibility.
A public screen standard cannot be changed into a private screen standard if it is attached to more than one application area.
In creation mode, the visibility is initialized as public.
Type
Choose the type of help on the AS/400 by clicking the corresponding radio button.
This topic is used to define the help type and its use for this screen standard.

Cursor management
This option is used to generate calculation instructions relative to the cursor location, when generating the program.
Default: box not checked.
Redisplay management
This option defines the page on which subfiles will be redisplayed if no error is detected.

Right to left
This box is used to specify that you are working in left/right mode in programs attached to the application areas associated with the screen standard.
The layout fields for these programs will be generated or placed from right to left.
Buttons
80-column std
This button opens a dialog box which is used to modify an 80-column screen standard.
132-column std
This button opens a dialog box which is used to modify a 132-column screen standard.
Window std
This button opens a dialog box which is used to modify a window screen standard.
Information
This button opens a dialog box displaying information on the current screen standard, such as the name of the software engineer-owner, the dates and times of creation and modification.
Comments
This button opens a dialog box for entering a comment text which will be associated with the current screen standard.
Modify (validation)
This button validates the selections made and closes the dialog box.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the selections made.
