- Select the object(s) to delete.
- Choose the Delete option from the Edit menu (or its shortcut: Del).
For the block or line selection modes, the block or lines selected are deleted in the same way:
any item located on the right of the selected block is moved to the left by a number of columns equal to the width of the deleted block,
all the items located under the deleted lines are moved up by the corresponding number of lines.
