To specify the export criteria for constants, click the Export non-validated constants button in the decentralized translation tool's main window.
Constants
Check boxes
All
If this box is checked, all the non-validated constants in the translation manager will be exported.
Dictionary constants
If this box is checked, any non-validated dictionary constants (managed in the Adelia constants dictionary) will be exported.
Buttons
Programs sublist
This button opens a dialog box that lets you select the programs to which the exported constants will belong.
Export
Clicking this button displays a message prompting you to confirm the export request, and then opens a Windows selection box that lets you specify the export file name.
This file name is not specified by default. This file can be either a new file or an existing file (which will be overwritten).
The file selection window used for the export initially shows the directory specified in the TEMP environment variable (e.g. c:\winnt\temp) when it is opened.
Naturally, it is possible to specify a different directory in which to save this export file.
Clicking Save starts the export procedure.
Clicking Cancel interrupts the export procedure and returns you to the export criteria selection box.
Note: At the end of the export, a Windows message box informs you whether or not the process was successful. If it failed, you can view the list of errors in a file in the export directory that has the same name as the export file, but with the .log extension rather than .xls.
