The purpose of the functions in the VATOCOM DLL is to enable Visual Adelia programs to run scripts written in the programming language Microsoft® Visual Basic® Scripting Edition, (or VBScript for short).
This language is designed specifically for writing scripts, which are sequences of commands that can be run in batch mode on any 32-bit Windows platform (i.e. Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000 or XP). Scripts can be used to perform system-related operations or to use any application with a COM interface (e.g. Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.). A script can contain multiple functions, which can provide and receive parameters.
