To install your user templates in the APE, simply configure your own template loader.
There are two possibilities according to your template packaging:
- a file system-type template loader if your templates are stored in a directory,
- a Java "classpath"-type template loader if your templates are packaged in a JAR file.
In both cases, ensure beforehand that the links to external resources are consistent, namely:
- inclusion or import of sub-templates,
- inclusion of images,
- existence of localized templates in the case of multi-language support,
- existence of translation .properties files in the case of multi-language support.
Instant deployment is possible but the FreeMarker cache management update frequency will depend on the value of the template_update_delay parameter in the freemarker.properties file.
