Check boxes

Inherit the parameters

Checked box

The fields in the "Middleware parameters" section are automatically initialized with the values indicated in the "Compilation machine for Visual Adelia client programs" parameters of the ADELIWS.INI file.

These fields will then become non modifiable.

Adelia programs and Visual Adelia client programs

Checked box

For each field concerned, it is the value indicated in the environment attributes which is taken into account.

The related field appears dimmed and cannot be modified anymore.

Note: This box is visible only if the page is called from the Modify the logical level information dialog box (call from an application area and not from the environment).

Visual Adelia programs

Data entry

Additional directory for .DLL files

Name of the additional directory into which the .DLL files and documentation are copied when an ActiveX control is integrated.

We recommend creating a shared directory into which the various ActiveX controls used by developers are placed, so that Visual Adelia layouts that contain an ActiveX control can be opened successfully on all development workstations.

Note: This field is visible only if the page is called from the Environment attributes dialog box (call from the environment).

Buttons

Undo

This button cancels the modifications made and restores the application to its previous state.

Default

This button cancels the modifications made and restores the application to the state it had when the environment was created.

Note: A click on the icon situated on the upper right-hand corner of the dialog box closes the box (keyboard shortcut: Alt+F4). If modifications were made, a confirmation screen appears.

Validate

Used to test the validity of the data entered. The wizard initiates a connection with the server, verifies access to the source code directories, then launches a compile test. The program also attempts to automatically detect and configure the Microsoft C compiler (MSDEV or .NET).
