The Translation manager's Details tab lets you work with the constants, irrespective of the translation language.
To open the constants' Details page, click the Details tab in the Translation manager window.
Notes:
-
- Until a translation language is created, this is the only accessible page. It will be blank if no constants have yet been extracted from the environment.
- When this tab is active, the main window's title bar will show the current environment name as well as "Translation manager".
- The trace of actions performed on constants can be saved in a trace file.

Lists
Constants
List showing either all the extracted constants or just those returned by a selection, search or filter. The list will be blank if no constants have been extracted from the programs in the environment.
Constants are sorted in ascending alphabetical order.
The constants are set out in seven columns containing the following details: constant value, type, extension type, maximum length, internal number of the constant and comment associated with it (by default the last two columns are visible if you use the scroll bar). The extension type, the maximum length and the comment can be changed for each constant by clicking Modify in the context-sensitive menu.
The left-hand column is made up of check boxes: a checked box indicates that the corresponding constant is linked to more than one program (multiple sources).
Double-click one of the constants to modify it, or else click the right mouse button and select the Modify option.
Extended-selection list.
Note: You can select or deselect several non-consecutive constants by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking the left mouse button.
