To display, create or modify the views associated with a program, you must either:
Click the Views button in the second button panel of the Question/Answer programming interface dialog box.
Click the Views button of the Modify the data flow dialog box.
Note: You cannot create or delete a subfile view.
Data entry
Code
View code.
Length: 2 alphanumeric characters (from "A" to "Z", and from "0" to "9").
The subfile view codes must be comprised of the sign "*" followed by a number ranging from 1 to 9.
When a view is selected in the list, its code appears in this field and can be modified.
Mandatory entry.
Name
Name of the view.
Length: 15 characters maximum.
When a view is selected in the list, its name appears in this field and can be modified.

Lists
Views
List of all the views existing in the current program.
For each view, the view code, the view name, and the associated file (if any) are specified.

These dialog boxes are also opened by means of a double click on an item of the list.
Buttons
Add
If a new view code is entered in the "Code" field and a new name is entered in the "Name" field, this button adds the corresponding view in the view list.
If a new view code is entered in the "Code" field and a new name is entered in the "Name" field, and if the Details box is checked, this button opens a dialog box which is used to create a standard view.
The view code and the view name created this way must be unique in the program.
This button is not active when the "Name" and "Code" fields are empty, and when the view code is a subfile view code (ranging from *1 to *9).
Modify
This button is used to update the list after the possible modification of the selected view.

If the code and the name of the view selected in the list are modified in the "Code" and "Name" entry fields, this button modifies the corresponding view in the view list.
If the Details box is checked, it opens a dialog box which is used to display or modify the general characteristics of a standard view or of a subfile view, depending on the view type.
This button is not active when no view is selected in the list.
Delete
This button is not active when no view is selected in the list, and when it is a subfile view (a subfile view cannot be deleted).
The user can only delete the view if he is the owner of the program; otherwise, the button is not active.
Enter
This button closes the dialog box.
Keyboard shortcut: Esc.
