This window introduces the Transfer manager program and lets you set the direction in which data are to be transferred.
Radio buttons
Receive the data from an AS/400 buffer
If this radio button is ticked, the data will be transferred from the AS/400 to the PC.
The data in the source AS/400 buffer will be received in the PC buffer from which the transfer program was called.
Send the data to an AS/400 buffer
If this radio button is ticked, the data will be transferred from the PC to the AS/400.
The data in the PC buffer from which the program was called will be sent to the destination AS/400 buffer.
This radio button is only available if the PC buffer data is compatible with the AS/400. This compatibility verification is carried out when data is sent from the environment to the PC buffer, when the Compatible with AS/400 transfer box button is checked.
Warning: The data in the reception buffer (AS/400 or PC) will be erased after the transfer.
