Access
To access the runtime application launcher, click on the "Adelia Studio Runtime" icon on the Windows 8 desktop (installation in runtime only), or run the "adelrt.exe" application via a command line.
On all Windows versions, you can use the runtime application launcher to access the various tools initially accessible via the Start menu.
Click a shortcut or its icon to launch an application; move the mouse over an option to display the associated tooltip.
Notes:
By default, Windows only displays 10 icons in the task list. To display all the available shortcuts, and in particular if you wish to display the Adelia iSeries runtime shortcuts, you must increase this value (Task bar Properties > Start menu > Customize… > Number of recent items to display in Jump Lists). Specify a value of at least 20 to display all the shortcuts.
By default, the Adelia iSeries runtime options are not displayed in the application launcher or task list. To display these options, in the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hardis\Adelia/IWS" registry key (Windows 32 bit), create a value with the name "ShowIWSShortcuts", type DWORD, and assign it the value "1".
