Warning: The Screen Layout Manager only applies to ADELIA programs.

 

This tool is used to create and modify the Adelia Studio transactions with all the flexibility and the ease of use of a graphical interface.

 

A screen design is created for each transaction defined at the SSG level.

 

The Screen layout manager is used to:

  • generate a transaction, automatically, from a transaction template;

  • define the characteristics of the transaction which have not been defined at the program level;

  • define the formats used in the transaction;

  • place on the layout the various fields required, define or modify these fields, and possibly duplicate the existing formats from other transactions;

  • enter the technical documentation and the user documentation of the transaction.

Note: If a user does not have the required authorities on the program called, the Screen layout manager will be opened in display mode; the user will only be able to consult the various dialog boxes without making any modification. The Modify button (used for validation) will become an Enter button.

 

The Screen layout manager can also be opened for a transaction template. But in this case, it will not be possible to access some of the Screen layout manager options.
