To modify the version associated with a program, group of programs, class or a correction, you must either:
Select the Modify version context-sensitive menu option (or click the Modify version button) in the Working with Programs or Working with Classes dialog box of the Object manager.
Click the Version button in the Defining a Program dialog box of the Object manager.
Click the Version button in the Defining a Class dialog box of the Object manager.
Click the Program Version button in the Defining a Correction dialog box of the Object manager.
Select the Modify version context-sensitive menu option on the Result (1 and 2) and Total pages of the Maintenance manager.
Select the Modify version context-sensitive menu option on the Result (1 and 2) and Total pages of the Maintenance manager.
This dialog box can be used to modify a program, group of programs, class or a correction, or to display the version of a program, class or correction.
In the case of a correction, if the version is specified, it is automatically applied to the programs contained in the correction when this latter is validated.
The version number is used to populate the version information during program or class generation.
Data entry
Version
Enter the version of the program, group of programs, class or correction.
The version is entered as a series of four numbers (version, modification, patch and build number). A value of 0.0.0.0 is interpreted as a blank value.
Buttons
Modify
Validates any changes and closes the dialog box.
Default
In the case of program or correction modification, the fields are initialized with the application area-level (private program) or environment-level (public program or correction) application version.
Cancel
Closes the dialog box without validating any changes.
