This page lets you specify the settings for the SQL (DB2, Oracle, Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL and Access) PC database settings.
By default, the database connection is configured for "System" authentication (with no user name or password required for the login procedure).
During the validation process, if the database exists but the system connection is rejected, the wizard can display a dialog box requesting the database login details (i.e. user name and password).

Server name
The combo box shows the detected Windows servers.
Select the server that you want to use for the specified DBMS.
Database
The combo box shows the databases detected on the server. As this detection process involves a connection, the user can request additional connection details (connection port, user name and password) when the page opens (before it is validated).

This text field displays the result of any operations performed by clicking the Validate button.

Tests the validity of the data entered. The wizard connects to the specified server and database.
Previous
Returns to the previous step in the configuration process.
Next
Skips to the next step in the configuration process.
Cancel
Closes the wizard immediately.
None of the environment's parameters are changed. However, if the user has confirmed steps in the various pages of the wizard, any objects created (compiler settings file, directories or libraries) are not deleted.
