Access
To work with the screen standards defined in an environment, you need to either:
Select the Standards option from the Administration menu.
Click the Standards tab in the Administration manager window.
Important: Only administrators can change the information in this window.
Several screen standards may exist in a single environment. However, only one standard is attached to a work application area.
Lists
Standards
List of all the screen standards defined in the environment.
Multiple-selection list.
Context-sensitive menu
The following options are accessible at all times via the context-sensitive menu.
In addition, there may be buttons to perform the same actions on the right-hand side of the window, depending on the settings in the Create/Modify a software engineer dialog box's Preferences tab.
Create
This option opens a dialog box which is used to create a screen standard.
Modify
This option opens a dialog box which is used to display or modify the general characteristics of the selected screen standard.
It is not active when no screen standard is selected in the list.
Copy
This option opens a dialog box which is used to create a new screen standard with the same characteristics as the original screen standard.
It is not active when no screen standard is selected in the list.
Delete
This option deletes the selected screen standard from the list of environment screen standards.
It is not active when no screen standard is selected in the list.
This option prints the characteristics of the selected standards.
The printing job is submitted to the Job manager.
This option is not active when no standard is selected in the list.
