Include the layouts in the data environment:
the layout name must follow the format guide word in the PRINT and PRINT_VIEWS instructions.
the layout name must directly follow the CHANGE_PAGE instruction.
Example
Print the header format of two separate layouts.
Layout for line details:
Layout name: LAY001 Format guide word: LINE_DETAIL
Layout sorted by field:
Layout name: LAY002 Format guide word: SUMM_DETAIL
In the LAY001 program, you can write:
PRINT LINE_DETAIL
PRINT SUMM_DETAIL LAY002
Notes:
- The data flow can only occur on the layout that carries the name of the program.
- The same name of a format can only appear in one of the layouts used.
