Information entered

Name

Component name.

This name must be a valid component name (in the IBM sense of the term) which is unique in the environment.

Length limited to 15 characters.

Description

Description clearly defining the component.

Length limited to 250 characters.

Required field.


GroupId

A groupId is used to identify the artifacts generated during component build in a unique way. It must follow the Java package name rules. This means that it must start with a reverse domain name which belongs to you, followed by names of sub-groups, chosen by you, separated by the "." character.

It can contain lowercase letters, numbers and "." or "_" characters. Groups of characters separated by a "." must not start with a number.

Length limited to 256 characters.

Example of existing groups that you cannot, therefore, use: org.apache.maven, org.apache.commons, com.sun.xml, com.hardis.adelia, com.hardis.reflex...


artifactId prefix

This character string is used as a prefix to the names of artifacts generated by the component build.

It can contain lowercase letters, numbers and "-" or "_" characters. Groups of characters separated by a "-" must not start with a number.

Length limited to 256 characters.

After validation

This information is sent to the "After validation" EXIT program, via the parameter file (by the means of the COMPONENT_TO_BUILD list section and the ADDITIONAL DATA key during the correction validation for which the component, or one of its objects (program, class or error message), or one of the latter's dependent objects (for example, a logical entity handled in a program) is used.
It can help you, for example, to send data to your application creation tool from an Adelia component-based build.
For example, if you use Jenkins, this information could be the url of the job that launches the build corresponding to the component.

This description must be no more than 1024 characters long.

This list presents all the artifacts which were generated by the latest build the component participated in, with deployment in your repository.

This button opens dialog box displaying information about the component, such as the name of the software engineer owner, the dates and times of creation and last change.


Comments

This button opens a dialog box for entering a comment text which will be associated with the component.
