The Logical Data Model represents data compatible with the database organization of the database management system used.
The LDM may be described manually, or obtained from the Conceptual Data Model via transformation rules.
Access
To generate the LDM, choose the corresponding option from the LDM menu of the LDM/PDM screen.
Lists
App. areas
List of application areas of the environment.
Multiple-selection list.
Buttons
Modify
This button modifies all the Conceptual Data Model (CDM) objects of the selected application areas, in order to generate them completely during the next LDM generation.
It is not active when no application area is selected in the list.
Generate (validation)
This button starts the LDM generation.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the modifications made.
