The list below shows the various possible statuses of the objects in a correction.

Available, To be validated, or In validation corrections

  • The possible statuses of an object in such a correction, that are necessarily in a correction environment, are:

To be deleted

The object could not be deleted during validation of a correction in the correction environment. This status is intended to remind the user that he/she must act on the object (delete it, modify it or remove it from the correction) because, as long as the correction contains an object "To be deleted", it cannot be validated.

Important: If the object has been modified, whether before or after the failed deletion attempt from a correction validation, then the object status is not "To be deleted", but "Modified", as this is a new version of the object: the modification takes precedence over the deletion attempt.

Created

The object was created during the correction process.

Not modified

The object has not been modified since being held for correction. It's version has not changed.

Even unmodified, it will be involved in the validation of the correction in another environment and will be sent to this latter.

Modified

The object has been modified since being held for correction. It now has a new version.

Important: An object is considered to have been modified, even if no data have been changed, as soon as the user has validated the object's form data by clicking on Modify.

Received

The object was received during validation of a correction in the correction environment. It now has the same version as in the validation source environment.

Important: If the object is modified after receipt, its status changes from "Received" to "Modified", as this is a new version of the object: modification takes precedence over receipt.

Deleted

The object has been deleted since being held for correction.

Validated corrections

Status of the object once the correction has been validated.

  • The possible statuses of an object in a correction environment are:

Deleted

The object was deleted during the correction process.

Not validated

The object has not been validated in the production environment. To determine the cause, refer to the validation report in the relevant production environment. You can access this report from the correction's validation log.

Validated

The object was received into the production environment during the correction validation process.

  • The possible statuses of an object in a production or development environment are:

To be deleted

The object was deleted from the correction environment during the correction process. As the correction validation process does not delete the objects (except those in the logical model), this status indicates that the object must be manually deleted in the relevant environments.

Not received

The object was not received into the environment during the correction validation process. Refer to the validation report to determine the cause. You can access this report from the correction's validation log.

Received

The object was received into the environment during the correction validation process.

Deleted

The object was deleted during the correction validation process.
